Shaylee Mansfield, a Deaf YouTuber, initially caught the world's attention when several of her videos went viral garnering millions of hits. She appeared in ASL Nook (2013) for over 50 episodes inspiring families and children worldwide to learn American Sign Language (ASL).Shaylee along with her family was featured in Disney's Unforgettable Campaign which won the Gold Award at the LA Addys in 2017. Plus, the Mansfield family was featured as one of the three Deaf families on a documentary Born This Way Presents: Deaf Out Loud (2018), produced by Jonathan Murray and Marlee Matlin with Bunim/Murray Productions.One day a friend informed her parents of a Disney audition for a Christmas film called Noelle (2019), Shaylee only had an hour to practice the lines before going downtown Los Angeles to audition, which she won. Since then, she booked roles in various commercials, television, and films. Shaylee will debut in her first lead role in the upcoming feature film, Feel the Beat, starring Sofia Carson.Born in Burbank, CA to Deaf parents and quite a mixed lineage that includes Irish, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native American to name a few. In her downtime, Shaylee enjoys caring for animals, creating videos, and riding the craziest roller coasters. Someday, she hopes to preserve endangered animals from extinction.
