Brooklyn, New York is where Marlon K. Gordon's passion for the arts began. Imagine Marlon, sitting on his 2nd grade classroom's rug, and having not the slightest idea of how the next few moments would change his life forever. It was during Mrs. Guisao's spur-of-the-moment acting class, in her anticipation of finding the right student to play the role of Martin Luther King Jr. for the upcoming Black History Month Showcase, that Marlon did something she was quite impressed by. In his excitement, all he knew was that whatever he did felt right.This particular instance of skill and unbeknownst passion inherently communicates the responsibility of the actor for Marlon, and drives his conscience as he navigates the television, film and theater industries. By his view of the actors role to simultaneously relay and respond to life, the standard for his work shines through.
