Charles is a stage, screen and voice actor born and raised by a single mother in Chicago. As an actor, he first earned recognition professionally for his work with four-time Emmy winner Rory Karpf in the independent short film "Marbles." He's since starred in a number of award winning projects and is slated to appear in the Bollywood Blockbuster "Dhoom 3" (2013).As soon as he could hold a crayon, Charles was immersed in the arts. He even had his work displayed at the Art Institute of Chicago at the age of ten. As a young child, Charles got his first taste of the stage by performing magic. Later, while attending Chicago's prestigious Francis W. Parker school, he had brushes with performing again in productions of the Odyssey, Oliver and Hamlet among others.Charles attended Boston University and continued taking acting classes, while pursuing his degree. He later trained at notable institutions such as Act One Studios, the Annoyance, the Chicago Acting Studio, iO Chicago and the Second City.Charles had a successful career as an advertising executive, leading marketing efforts for blue-chip brands such as Kellogg's, Whirlpool and LEGO. After years of juggling the arts and advertising, in November 2010, Charles left his successful career to pursue his passions full time and has never looked back.When he's not performing, Charles spends most of his time painting.
